The family-run Hotel Na Farmě was opened on April 4, 2014. It is located in the picturesque village of Choťovice, near the spa town of Poděbrady, just 4 kilometers from the D11 motorway (Exit 50) between Prague and Hradec Králové. The hotel sits conveniently between the towns of Poděbrady, Kolín, and Chlumec nad Cidlinou.

Sustainability Comes First

Hotel Na Farmě in Choťovice, awarded the prestigious title “Ecological Oscar,” is an example of modern and sustainable energy management. Thanks to a comprehensive renewable energy system, the hotel is energy self-sufficient and minimizes its impact on the environment.

The hotel, built primarily from wood, represents a complete circular system — from growing grain to feeding cattle and pigs, supplying biogas plants that generate heat and electricity, to producing excellent steaks prepared by our butcher and served in the hotel restaurant.

We produce our own electricity and heat in a biogas plant with a capacity of 999 kWh. The plant processes all waste from animal production (manure, slurry) and corn grown and harvested on our own fields. Each year, we consume about 17% of the electricity we produce — the rest is supplied to the public grid.

Thanks to these innovations, the hotel operates without fossil fuels, proving that comfort and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand. Hotel Na Farmě sets a new standard for sustainable and energy-efficient hospitality in the Czech Republic.

1st place in the “Best Investment Project of 2014” competition.

In 2016, we won 1st place in the E.ON ENERGY GLOBE AWARD in the Business category.

In 2021, we received the main award in the “Farmer of the Year” competition in the category “Socially Responsible Farmer – Individual.”

Institute of Circular Economy – awarded “Circular Achievement.”

In 2022, we were selected among the best ecological projects by DM.

In 2023, we won the “O2 Giving a Million” regional award for our fully closed ecological production cycle.

In 2024, we received the first prize in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Czech Republic 2024 competition.
